We specialize in perinatal mental health (includes pregnancy, postpartum, infertility/loss/miscarriage/stillbirth, parenting), and received training in perinatal mental health mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International.

We take a trauma-informed, intersectional approach with therapy- none of us have a clean slate history free of trauma. This includes PTSD&CPTSD, sexual/physical/emotional trauma, and military-related trauma.

This includes: assisting others work through their lifetime of learned thoughts, feelings, behaviors associated with past trauma and experiences- which further leads to self discovery of the most authentic sense of self, inner peace, and safety. Because life is too short to not be living our most authentic life!

Other areas of expertise includes working with adults only who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, severe and persistent mental illness, substance use, personality disorders, mood disorders, grief/loss/bereavement, relationship issues, and chronic suicidal ideation/crisis intervention.

Carey is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Lauren specializes in family systems, addressing the complexity of emotional processes in one’s family dynamic and social systems. This includes those that have experienced adoption, foster care, and multi-dimensional concerns that impact mental health.

We hold space for those who have experienced birth trauma, as it sets the stage for our postpartum experience and induction into motherhood. Through therapeutic modalities and empathetic listening, we can heal and process.
